Welcome to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity ReStore!

The Des Moines Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells new and used home improvement materials to the public at discounted prices. ALL proceeds from ReStore benefit the mission of Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.

Materials in the store are donated from the public and private sector, and include such items as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, paint, and windows (and much, much more!). Through the donation process, thousands of tons of materials are diverted from the landfill each year.

There are seven ReStores in Iowa and over 500 ReStores in the U.S. and Canada .

ReStore:
- Helps Habitat build more homes in Greater Des Moines.

- Makes home improvements more affordable.
- Prevents useable building materials from going to a landfill.

How you can help:

Shop - Find new home remodeling treasures each week!
Donate - Donate resellable new and used building materials
Your charitable donations to the Habitat ReStore may be tax deductible!
Volunteer - By volunteering at ReStore, you help reduce our payroll, enabling more funding to go directly to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity!
